Trinity is host to several community self-help groups, music ensembles, focus groups and classes. Read more on our Community Meetings page.


Trinity's parking lot is open for every University of Michigan home football game. Enjoy convenient parking and tailgating in our spacious, secluded lot, just a short walk from the Big House. Our lot opens 4 hours before kickoff and restrooms in our church building are open before the game. Look for our maize & blue signs along Stadium Bouldvard. Global Programs

Affirming God’s love for all people, Lutheran World Relief (LWR) works with Lutherans and partners around the world to end poverty, injustice and human suffering. Trinity supports the ongoing work of LWR through our monthly Fill the Jar collection for World Hunger, our annual shipment of quilts, health kits, school supplies and backpacks, and our Fair Trade pantry. The Evangelical Lutheran Church in Jordan and the Holy Land is part of the World Council of Churches and is “working for justice, praying for peace, living in hope" in that region. Trinity is a partner congregation with Lutheran Church of Hope in Ramallah, Palestine. Read more about Trinity’s involvement on our ELCJ page.


Trinity is a long time supporter of Phebe Hospital in Liberia, West Africa, is well known for its health care ministries. Phebe Hospital opened in 1921 and the Phebe School of Nursing was the first nursing school in the country. In spite of being attacked and looted, Phebe Hospital never stopped offering services during the civil war (1989 to 2003.)  Trinity takes up a special collection on Phebe Hospital Sunday each fall.


Trinity supports Revs. Marty & Angela Zimmann, co-pastors of the English-speaking congregation of the Lutheran Church of the Redeemer in Jerusalem.


Local Programs

Trinity has many volunteer opportunities from one day service projects to more involved projects. We invite both members and friends to get involved!


Trinity sponsors goods collections throughout the year and for special disaster needs, from our end-of-the-month collections for area social service agencies to seasonal collections like our Summer Cereal Collection, our Winter Mitten Tree, and ourTrinity Giving Tree which benefits Peace Neighborhood Center each Christmas.


Trinity is involved in hosting the homeless in our local community. Trinity is part of the Rotating Shelter Program, prepares meals at the Delonis Shelter on fifth Thursdays, and hosts homeless families at Alpha House several weeks a year.


Trinity participates with other area congregations in an annual Habitat for Humanity/Thrivent Builds Project.


Trinity participates each fall in the CROP Walk for Hunger.


Trinity is a longtime supporter of Peace Neighborhood Center.


Trinity maintains relationships with area social service agencies, working to help those in need. Our Community Resources Directory lists many of our partner agencies.


Trinity takes its role in environmental stewardship to heart and participates in the City of Ann Arbor's Recycling program.
