Barb Daniel, Director:

Director and teacher Barb Daniel is a graduate of Eastern Michigan University in Ypsilanti with a BS in K-8 Education and MA degree in Reading Education with an Early Childhood endorsement. She taught at the St. Luke Lutheran preschool for thirteen years and served nine years as the director/teacher. She has been responsible for the expansion of the program at Trinity and has served on the staff since 1995.


Lorin Kummer, Teacher:

Lorin, Certified Social Worker, Lorin holds a Masters in Child and Family Therapy from the University of Michigan. She earned her from Eastern Michigan University, specializing in Early Childhood Development, Psychology and Fine arts. Lorin has been a teacher in Washtenaw County schools for 18 years. Prior to Trinity, she created and directed classes for youth and families at the Chelsea Center for the Arts. She is a licensed child and family therapist and a working artist.


Nancy Baldus, Teacher:

Nancy attended Eastern Michigan University where she received a BS degree in Education. She is certified to teach regular education through 6th grade and special education through 12th grade. Prior to Trinity, Nancy worked with emotionally-impaired and visually-impaired children. Nancy has been a member of Trinity Lutheran Church since 1988 and has been a member of the Preschool staff since 1998.
